We are the people who vote in our Political Parties. We have power in numbers - our choices are supposed to be represented.
So - What can We Do?

I think that one of the best things to do is to be learned in the Law that is at hand. We should get interested enough to dig and learn all we can so we understand clearly what we are fighting for. We should fight as one, united the way this Country is suppose to do.

I think you're absolutely right!
One of the failings of the American Public is that we do NOT understand the laws and we allow the politicians to choose the laws for us.
We should learn all that we can - and in digging through H.R. 4954, I have learned that there are a lot of laws behind it.
But just because the American Public doesn't understand the "legalise" speak - or how to research laws... it doesn't mean politicians should just make them.
If it isn't what the people want - then what ARE the politicians doing it for?
WHO are they doing it for?
Money, perhaps?
And WHO pays the most?

Of course it is money. All laws when you get right down to it is all about the money. We all know about the Vegas Casinos lining Frist's pockets and you can be sure there were others. That's something that infuriates me. All these people who have and get whatever they want, feel the need to stomp on my rights to further enrich themselves.

I know I have been writing everyone I can think to and also placing this forum and banner everywhere I can so people see it and it shocks them into realization of the fact that our rights are being taken away.

Everyone needs to write their Senators and Congressmen and ask that the Port Security bill be revisited and the gambling bill pulled out of that package and voted on as a stand alone bill.
That is why Little Bill snuck it in there because he knew that online bill would not pass on its own so he masked it in the Port Security Bill knowing full well no one reads everything they vote on and it would sneak on through. |

Ok People! Here is a chance to help APCW promote the Charitable Gaming for Veterans model. If you do traffic exchanges, blogs, forums, etc. here is the link to send people to for the information about this. If we all work together we can do this!!!

Thanks, joker, for putting that link here...I'm still kind of challenged at blogging and forums, and probably put it in the wrong place when i put it under news links lol! Everyone, SUPPORT this plan, please!!! It's the best and only realistic plan out there, and it's gaining momentum. I've gotten a positive response (one anyway lol) on Hillary Clinton's blog about it, as there is a Veterans thread on there. Get the word and video and page links out there wherever you can.
