Todd rocks - btw. |

Posted - 02/02/2007 : 20:48:16 Today's USA Today contains a story describing how funds of gamblers have been frozen in the accounts of BetOnSports and Neteller as a result of the governments actions against these online companies. The irony is in the fact that these funds were safe and freely transferable prior to the intervention designed to "protect" bettors.

Posted - 02/01/2007 : 20:47:51 I ran across this article and to say the least its very disturbing:
Party Gaming Gets Cute with American Player Accounts
January 4th, 2007 - It's a story you will see only at the APCW! Party Gaming has been busy buying up the last shares on Empire online, inking multi-year deals with Playtech, and giving their CEO a 45 million dollar raise... so why would they turn around and treat their loyal customers so poorly?
We received an email not too long ago, telling us that one of our accounts at Part Poker was going to be charges $5 a month --- every month --- because we were no longer playing at the site. Mind you that, as an America, we can no longer play real money games at Party Poker. In fact, we tried to and were denied access to real money tables.
So now that we cannot play at Party Poker, they have elected to charge us $5 a month --- every month --- until our money is gone.
Smart move, guys...
We called and spoke with customer service, who confirms this policy. So each and every American player beware! Cash out NOW!

Posted - 01/30/2007 : 09:54:00 Below is a link to the most comprehensive article I have found so far, regarding history / timelines / outcomes, of past I Gaming related criminal cases. It seems as though getting permission from the bettingmarket.com to post this somewhere on the site , would be very cool?
